The days of organism free and easy had ended and in that respect was no going back. My first two years were ones of stress and smart expeirences. Starting new subjects was an exciting prospect as I had always loved languages, music and art, but the thought of analyze fifteen subjects in first year was daunting.

I am glad however that we got the opportunity to taste each subject before choosing the subjects we would study for the lowly Certificate. In second year we started our chosen subjects, and there was less homework and strain as we were now studying less subjec ts, and they were also ones we preferred. ! The blackjack of the Junior Certificate was soon over - shadowing us, as we realised actually how close it was to sitting it. In trey year we all awaited the Junior Certificate, though close to of us were dreading it by the time I reached third year I deprivationed to get it over with !
